Oracle Cloud DevOps Engineer (human)

HAMBURG /  BRNO / BRATISLAVA / FULLTIME / 40 HOURS WEEK

Are you enthusiastic about leveraging Oracle Cloud technologies to streamline development workflows, automate deployments, and optimize infrastructure? Join our team as an Oracle Cloud DevOps Engineer and play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency in our cloud-based solutions.

 

Your Tasks

​
  • Architecting and managing cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud to ensure scalability, security, and high availability of services.

  • Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Oracle Developer Cloud Service or similar tools to facilitate automated testing and deployment processes.

  • Utilizing Terraform and Oracle Cloud Resource Manager to provision and manage cloud resources programmatically, ensuring consistency and repeatability through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Implementing best practices for continuous integration and delivery, integrating version control systems like Git with automated build and deployment processes.

  • Developing and maintaining monitoring solutions using Oracle Cloud Monitoring, Grafana, Prometheus, and other tools to track system performance, detect issues, and optimize resource utilization.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Your Profile

​

  • You demonstrate proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, encompassing compute, storage, networking, and database services.

  • You have experience with the DevOps toolchain, including Oracle Developer Cloud Service, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools such as Terraform.

  • You possess strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating tasks, managing configurations, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

  • You show familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as  Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications.

  • You understand Oracle database administration concepts, including database deployment, configuration, and management in the cloud environment.

  • You have knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to Oracle Cloud environments, and you have experience in implementing security controls and monitoring solutions.

  • You demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.

  • You exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within a distributed team environment.

In Slovakia and Czech we only offer mobile office.
